Introduction

The Harrow Symphony Orchestra is Harrow’s own orchestra. It encourages local musicians and gives them and their audiences the opportunity to enjoy and participate in orchestral music making. The orchestra generally performs three concerts each year and rehearsals continue throughout the year, providing members with a broad selection of musical experience. We are particularly proud that we have been able to put on concerts which have raised funds for local charities.

Note from Gustavo: slight change on our rehearsal programme for Thursday 23/02:

We will be rehearsing the 4th movement and some of the 3rd of the Tchaikovsky. If there is time we will play through the Mozart. There will be no need for John to come as we might not have the time to play through the Concerto.
