Introduction
The Harrow Symphony Orchestra is Harrow’s own orchestra. It encourages local musicians and gives them and their audiences the opportunity to enjoy and participate in orchestral music making. The orchestra generally performs three concerts each year and rehearsals continue throughout the year, providing members with a broad selection of musical experience. We are particularly proud that we have been able to put on concerts which have raised funds for local charities. Video snippets from a previous concert:

The Harrow
Symphony
Orchestra is in a process of reform. We are
looking to strengthen the string
section and would love to hear particularly from violinists and
violists
of a grade 8 level or equivalent with good sight reading skills to help
this
orchestra develop and achieve its full potential. |
